Following our consideration of the questions raised in the consultation letter issued on 6th December concerning the Smoke-free Premises etc. (Wales)(Amendment) Regulations 2012, and the response prepared on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health in Wales (attached), Pembrokeshire County Council shares the concerns expressed by CIEH (Wales), is opposed to reduction in protection that would arise in connection with the proposed amendments, and fully endorses the position adopted by the CIEH (Wales).
